Every Afikim Solar Recreational Scooter is covered by an extensive Afikim Electric Vehicles factory warranty for a minimum period of one (1) year, with most coverage extending to a full 2-Year Limited Warranty through Dignity Mobility. *Increased operational noise in the transaxle voids the warranty (it indicates abusive or excessive strain). Does the solar canopy work on cloudy days?

Yes - solar panels still generate power on overcast days, just less of it. The 30% figure assumes good sunlight; expect a reduced boost in cloudy or low-light conditions. The scooter also recharges via the standard 8-amp wall charger overnight, just like any other electric scooter.

How fast can it go?

The standard top speed is 15 km/h. The optional motor upgrade bumps it to 18 km/h (18 km/h).

The scooter is 27" wide with standard wheels (35" with golf tyres) and 61" long. It's designed primarily for outdoor use and is too large for most standard interior doorways. It also does not disassemble or fold for transport.
